Proper coffee, fresh bakes and a breakfast worth getting up for — with a view over the 18th and a patio that catches the afternoon sun. You don’t need to be a member. You don’t need to play golf.

Breakfast is served from 8am, seven days a week. The all-day menu runs from bacon baps through to a proper lunch, and there’s a specials board that changes with whatever’s good.
Ingredients come from local suppliers — the farm shop in Bold Heath, pies from the renowned Cottams of St Helens. The kitchen has a five-star food hygiene rating from St Helens Council, which is the sort of thing we’d mention even if you didn’t ask.

Dog walkers, cyclists, anglers, the school run, a first date, a quiet hour with a laptop, a table of eight after a funeral. The coffee shop is open to everyone, every day, and there is always somewhere to park.
