Coarse Fishing
Two lakes.
Forty-nine pegs.
Nobody bothering you.
Chestnut and Acorn sit in the quiet corner of the valley, heavily stocked with carp, chub, bream, roach, perch and barbel. Day tickets and annual memberships — and a café that’s open all day.
The fishery
Landscaped, stocked,
and properly quiet.
Mersey Valley’s fishery is set over two individually landscaped lakes in tranquil Mersey Valley countryside. It suits the specimen carp angler and the pleasure angler equally, at every level.
Chestnut, the larger water, has two islands, 29 platforms around the perimeter and depths from one metre to around three.
Acorn has one island and 20 platforms at similar depths. Both lakes carry a one-metre marginal ledge to hold fish close in.
The clubhouse café is open all day, every day, serving hot and cold food throughout the year.
