The St Mellion Suite dressed for a wedding

Weddings

One suite.
One hundred
and twenty-five acres.

A first-floor suite with the character of a barn, its own private bar, and a wall of windows onto the course. Exclusive-use packages, a team who build rather than sell, and photographs at golden hour.

Your day

Not a hotel ballroom.
Not a marquee in a field.

The St Mellion Suite has exposed beams, warm light and windows that run the length of the room, looking out over the fairways. It seats 150 for a wedding breakfast, holds more for an evening reception, and comes with its own bar so nobody has to queue downstairs.

Outside there are 125 acres of parkland, water and mature woodland — which is a polite way of saying your photographer will be very happy.

The setting

A room that already looks like a wedding.

What’s included

We build packages.
We don’t sell them.

Every wedding is costed from what you actually want. Start with the room and the bar, then add exactly as much as you need.

The essentials

Exclusive use of the suite, private bar, tables, linen, chair covers and a dedicated coordinator on the day. PA and screen for speeches.

The food

Three-course wedding breakfast, hot and cold fork buffets, afternoon teas or evening bacon baps. Local suppliers, five-star kitchen, dietary requirements handled properly.

The extras

Drinks packages, DJ or live music, dressed backdrops, accommodation recommendations nearby, and a buggy to get the photographs you want without the walk.

Practicalities

The questions couples always ask.

The St Mellion Suite seats up to 150 for a wedding breakfast and holds more for a standing evening reception. The Griffin Room downstairs takes 12–14 for something smaller.
Talk to our events team about your plans — we can advise on licensing and on the local register office and churches that our couples usually use.
Packages are built to your requirements, so there’s no rigid minimum. Send us your date and rough numbers and we’ll come back with an honest figure.
The suite is yours for the day. The clubhouse, bar and course continue to operate below, which most couples find helpful — it means guests have somewhere to go between courses.
Free on-site parking for well over a hundred cars, level access to the ground floor and a lift to the suite.
Please do. Viewings are welcome seven days a week — call 0151 424 6060 or send an enquiry and we’ll arrange a time that suits you.
