Getting here
Where we are
Warrington Road, Bold Heath, Widnes, Cheshire WA8 3XL. On the A57 between Widnes and Warrington. Free on-site parking for well over a hundred cars, including accessible bays right by the clubhouse door.
Roughly ten minutes from Warrington, Widnes, Runcorn and St Helens; about twenty-five from Liverpool and Chester.

What to wear
Dress code
On the course: smart golf attire — collared or technical shirt, tailored trousers or shorts, soft-spike golf shoes.
Clubhouse, bar & coffee shop: smart casual and genuinely relaxed. Come as you are for a coffee. No denim, football shirts or work boots in the function rooms after 6pm.
A day in the valley
How to spend it.
The golfer’s day
07:30 – 16:00
Bacon bap and a coffee at half seven. Off the first at eight. Eighteen holes, a buggy if the legs aren’t what they were. Lunch on the patio, then an hour on the practice green.
The family day
10:00 – 16:00
Coffee and cake while the kids do junior coaching. An hour on the simulator with all four of you. Lunch in the bar. A walk round the lakes before you go.
The night out
18:00 – late
Ninety minutes of padel under the floodlights. Showers, then food and the match on the big screen. A closest-to-the-pin decider in the simulator bay.
